5. BenQ BL3201PT

Design and Feature

BenQ BL3201PT brings you a big 32” screen that gives you the best of the best in terms of features and displays technology. The IPS display technology doubled with the 4K2K resolution that helps with the animation and graphics so that you get the awesome gaming experience that you crave. This 100% sRGB monitor fixed on a stand around a small cylinder that makes it feel like it mounted on the bolt around which you can rotate the screen. You also get a CAD/CAM mode that is perfect for precise designing and animation.

The dynamic contrast ratio is 20 million to 1 that provides the best of quality helping you discern the smallest of details and the auto pivot also gives a flicker-free gaming experience that will not strain your eyes during those overnight Call of Duty sessions.  GTG response time is not the lowest but I can say that it is one of the lowest at 4ms only. On top of all these top of the line features, you also get 1 billion colors with a 60 Hz display port along with two HDMI ports and a USB hub also.

4. Samsung U28D590

Design and Feature

Samsung has not just sunk its teeth into the smartphone industry, but it also provides the best out of display technology be it an LED TV, LCD’s, Full HD monitors and 4K monitors. Samsung U28D590 has a brilliant design, and the L-shaped leg gives off a stylish vibe that is futuristic on the eyes. I think this 4K monitor does not provide any feature that might actually stand out among other 4K monitors, but they have excelled in getting your attention by piecing together all the right set of characteristics. Everything that you get in this 4K monitor summed in one word; optimized.

On top of 4k resolution, you get a 60Hz display port and also two 30Hz HDMI ports that give brilliant HD options for gaming. GTG response time is just 1ms which is super great for gaming, and the best thing is that you get 1 billion colors where every other Monitor just offers 16 million colors. The dynamic contrast ratio is 2 million to one. The only thing I feel that keeps it from being top on the list is that there is no internal speaker or a USB HUB.

Price and Effect

The price of Samsung U28D590 is below $700 and for just this amount of money, you get a 28” monitor is an absolute bargain especially if you are getting Samsung technology for that.

3. Acer 4k2k XB280HK, 3rd Best 4k Monitor.

Design and Features

Acer XB280HK have introduced G-Sync Technology by Nvidia that to provide rich gaming experience with smooth pixels and tear free resolution. The ComfyView introduced by Acer, which is a fancy word for the Antiglare technology that every 4K Monitor today, but the technology privy to Acer provides a low dim view with a little strain on your eyes for extended gameplay. If you have a Nvidia GTX card then, this monitor is your best bet as the G-Sync technology synchronizes the input lag with the stuttering rate in the game to provide even smoother gaming experience.

You get a 28” screen with 1000:1 contrast ratio but the dynamic contrast ratio is 10 million to 1 that is a big step up to the previous monitors. You also get a 60Hz video resolution display port while most of the Monitors do not bother to go over 30Hz with a GTG response time of just 1ms. The only thing that keeps this monitor from going even higher on the best gaming monitor is that there is no HDMI port available.

Acer 4k2k XB280HK

Price and Effect

The price of Acer XB280HK gives a good value for $880 albeit you do not get a laundry list of features like the last two. The Nvidia G-Sync technology is actually the one that carries this monitor into the best 4K gaming monitor list.

2. NEC MultiSync EA244UHD, 2nd Best 4k Monitor.

Design and Features

With great design comes great gaming experience, at least the feel-good factor will take you gaming high to a whole new level. NEC MultiSync EA244UHD is a 24” is a new world order towards a richer and more quality oriented visual experience and locks itself down with a PPI of 185. MultiSync model-number-that-I-don’t-care-to-type-again-and-again gives the same standard contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio are also the equivalents of the last one at 2 million to 1.

NEC MultiSync gives you all the different types of ports like HDMI, USB 3.0 and Display ports available in an excellent white and gray colored design also that is just breathtaking and unique from usual black monitors. You also have a gray to the gray response time of only 5ms that is even lower than the 8ms Dell UltraSharp UP3214Q has.

NEC MultiSync EA244UHD

Price and Effect

The price is just $700 which is quite low for the features and quality that you get although the screen is also on the smaller size which is where you will be compromising to knock off around half of the price for the same list of features on most 30” monitors.

1. Dell UltraSharp UP3214Q, Best 4k Monitor.

Design and Features

Many of you might die to get hands on a Dell branded technological marvel because of their reliable and sturdy construction and a lifetime that might even but a cat’s nine lives to shame. On a personal note I actually think that Dell’s products are kind of OK and except for their Alienware technology most of their things do not impress me that much. However, without getting our personal discomfitures get in the way, Dell UltraSharp UP3214Q gives an Ultra High HD experience that in simple words can blow your minds away and thus the spot in our top 5.

With a 3 year warranty, you also get a significant set of feature that has become the regular practice to attract the buyers, because let’s face it the services and characteristics are the things that attract us more albeit with a real stand on quality is required. The UltraSharp gives you pitch-perfect color accuracy so you can see every detail in the exact same way like never before; every freckle on your favorite celebrity is visible or any spy hiding in the bushes waiting to kill off the last of you teammate.

It gives 99% RGB and 100% sRGB and along with that you also get a contrast ratio of 1000:1 which is standard actually. The Pixel per Inch index is 140 which is a little on the lower side because of the fact that the screen is 31.5”. Without getting into too much technological mumbo jumbo that neither you nor I can understand I will say however that UltraSharp UP3214Q has an HDMI 1.4 port instead of a 2.0 port like many in its price range. Moreover, the 2 million to 1 dynamic contrast ratio is on the lower side than most of other 4K monitors.

Dell UltraSharp UP3214Q

Price and Effect

Dell UltraSharp UP3214Q is available for around $2000 which is slightly on a higher budget than most people would want but you do get the Dell technology on the big screen of 31.5” which is a gaming paradise I reckon.
